A requiem service, and in memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide, was held near the Armenian cross-stone located in Gdańsk, Poland.

Next, a candlelight vigil and wreath-laying ceremony took place.

The Ambassador of Armenia to Poland, Edgar Ghazaryan, also was on hand at the event.

Subsequently, the ambassador toured the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

On the same day, Ghazaryan also attended, at the Gdańsk History Museum, the official opening of a series of exhibitions of paintings entitled “Waterfall of Flowers,” and devoted to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.

The exhibition displays one hundred paintings symbolizing the genocide centennial, and the painted waterfall of flowers represent the revival of the Armenian people.

Ten “Waterfall of Flowers” exhibitions will be held in several European cities, and they will conclude in Armenia.
