YEREVAN. – Armenia is not going to raise tariffs for gas, Government Chief of Staff-Minister David Harutyunyan said in parliament on Wednesday.

According to him, the fluctuation of the Armenian dram in November and December 2014 was not that large so that it would be necessary to raise the issue of increasing the cost of gas. Most importantly gas operator – Gazprom Armenia -- has not submitted applications for the revision of the tariff.

The current price of gas on the border of Armenia is $189 per 1,000 cubic meters.
