The Armenian News-NEWS.am sources have informed that a young woman had fallen from the dome of the Vahanavank monastic complex in Kapan city of Armenia’s Syunik Province.
We have learned that the 30-year-old woman is a doctor by profession, she and her staff members were on a working visit to Kapan, where they also had paid a visit to the Vahanavank Monastery.
After falling from the church dome, the woman was immediately taken to the Kapan Medical Center, where a medical examination was conducted.
It was found out that the young woman had sustained a pelvic injury, and on Thursday, she was brought to capital city Yerevan in an ambulance.
A Kapan Medical Center representative spoke with us and confirmed this information.
