YEREVAN. – The Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, received a delegation led by Ambassador Andrey Sorokin, the Head of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Office in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

The PM considered the Armenia-OSCE cooperation as productive, and reaffirmed the Armenian government’s readiness to continue the joint programs. In turn, Sorokin underscored Abrahamyan’s contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation.

Subsequently, the interlocutors discussed the ongoing OSCE-supported Regulatory Guillotine reform project in Armenia. Abrahamyan highlighted the OSCE Office in Yerevan’s role in this project. Ambassador Sorokin likewise praised this project, which will come to an end in several months. He also drew attention to the full implementation of the recommendations which leading international experts had offered to the Armenian state agencies.

The parties also exchanged views on the avenues for further expanding and invigorating bilateral cooperation, and stressed the importance of joint projects.

In addition, the head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan informed that an OSCE delegation will attend at the highest level to the Armenian Genocide centenary commemorations to be held in Armenia’s capital city in April.
