The Minister of Culture of Armenia, Hasmik Poghosyan, was on a working visit to Poland from March 27 to 30.

On March 28, Poghosyan had a working lunch with Małgorzata Omilanowska, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland. They discussed Armenia-Poland cultural cooperation.

On the same day, the two ministers attended the concert of the “Hover” State Chamber Choir of Armenia.

On March 29, Armenia’s culture minister met with Konrad Pawlik, the Undersecretary of State of Poland. Pawlik highlighted the major role of cultural cooperation, and also underscored Armenia-European Union (EU) cooperation within the framework of the EU Eastern Partnership program.

Poghosyan, for her part, presented the results of her talk with the Polish minister of culture and national heritage, and the agreements they had reached.

At the end of this meeting, the parties signed two cooperation documents between the Governments of Armenia and Poland, and in the domains of culture, education and science.

On the same day, Hasmik Poghosyan also attended the concert of the Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra, and conducted by Sergey Smbatyan, the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia.
