The Uruguay post office will present stamp sheet on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, reports Uruguayan newspaper “Republica”.

The post office will introduce the new specimen to collectors on April 7.

 “In this manner Uruguay post office will pay tribute to the memory of victims of this tragic page in the history of the Armenian nation. Besides the management of the post office, Armenia’s honorary consul Ruben Abrahamyan and Archbishop Hakob Kelendjian, as well as other high-ranking Uruguayan officers are also expected to be present,” the newspaper reports.
