YEREVAN. – Turkmenistan’s new Ambassador to Armenia, Muhammad Niaz Mashalov, on Wednesday presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

The President congratulated the ambassador for commencing his diplomatic mission in Armenia, and wished him success in his important and accountable work. He stressed that the Armenian-Turkmen interstate discourse is further strengthening each and every year.    

Sargsyan also expressed the hope that Muhammad Niaz Mashalov will do everything possible, during his diplomatic tenure, to further invigorate and deepen Armenia-Turkmenistan collaboration.

Ambassador Mashalov, for his part, assured that his diplomatic work will aim to implement the agreements which the presidents of the two countries have reached, and the signed documents which are aimed at further strengthening and developing Armenian-Turkmen bilateral ties.
