YEREVAN. – US Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills on Monday met, at the office of the opposition Free Democrats Party, with party Chairman Khachatur Kokobelyan and several other Free Democrats officials.

The discussants conferred on Armenia’s domestic and foreign policy challenges, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Armenian-Turkish relations, and some other key issues. They also underscored the prospects for Armenia’s economic development.

The ambassador stressed that the promotion of American investment to Armenia, and the US assistance in the ongoing activities to improve the investment climate in the country are among the priorities of his and the US embassy in capital city Yerevan.

The interlocutors also expressed confidence that the active work and initiatives need to continue to enhance Armenian-American relations.
