YEREVAN. - On Monday Armenia’s FM Eduard Nalbandyan had a meeting with Russia’s Deputy FM Aleksey Meshkov, who arrived in Yerevan to conduct consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.  

Eduard Nalbandyan welcomed the guest and praised the effective cooperation between the foreign services of the two countries, which is a constituent part of Armenian-Russian ally relations, as reported by Armenia’s MFA press-service. Armenia’s FM mentioned the importance of the cooperation within the framework of international structures and said that his last-week visit to Moscow was a good occasion for discussing the cooperation in that field.   

Thanking for the reception, Aleksey Meshkov touched upon the results of the consultation between Armenian and Russian MFAs.

During the meeting the officials also exchanged opinions on the bilateral cooperation within the framework of European organizations, as well as on the cooperation of Armenia and Russian with European structures.
