Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan said they can easily expel the Armenian citizens from the country, but have not done it.

Erdogan claimed there is no negative attitude towards the Armenian citizens, Radical newspaper reported

“There are Armenian citizens living in Turkey. We could have expelled them, but we never did it,” he told reporters before departing on an official visit to Kazakhstan.   

President of Turkey also commented on the resolution marking the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide that will be debated by the European Parliament on Wednesday.

“Whatever decision they may take, it would go in one ear and out the other," Erdogan told reporters at Ankara airport,” Reuters quotes Turkish leader.
