There was no real progress in the last statement by Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, who did not recognize the Armenian Genocide, as compared to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s statement last year.

The Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations in France (CCAF) issued a statement with such content, reported the French Armenian Nouvelles d’Arménie magazine.

“Ankara, facing international pressure, is trying to save face and mislead the international community,” the CCAF statement also reads.

To note, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Monday issued a statement addressed to Armenians, and in connection with the Armenian Genocide issue.
