Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov confirmed that Russian and French Presidents, Vladimir Putin and François Hollande, will meet Friday in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

Ushakov predicted that the situation in Ukraine will be one of the main topics to be discussed at this talk.

He stated that the presidents will also confer on the situation in the Middle East, and the deliveries of French Mistral warships to Russia, reported TASS news agency of Russia.

“It’s very important for us that all Minsk 2 arrangements are made,” the Russian presidential aide added.

Ushakov also recalled that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is paying a visit to Paris on Wednesday.

“On April 24, President Hollande will probably present the essence of the Parisian talks,” Yury Ushakov stressed.
