YEREVAN. – Armed Forces of Armenia will be more vigilant on Friday, April 24—i.e. the day of the Armenian Genocide Centennial—, especially in the frontline, Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
He noted that Azerbaijan’s most recent provocations on the Line of Contact are continuing.
“You are all aware that the Azerbaijanis are making various attempts to sabotage,” Ohanyan said. “[But] to our delight, our boys [in the army] are carrying out their tasks in the best way, driving back the sabotage teams, [and] causing them casualties.”
The minister added that 2015 is an important year for Armenia’s Armed Forces, and the army is performing its tasks in the best way.
