Although 20 years have passed since the Karabakh war, the international community still assists Azerbaijan in Karabakh question, the Cypriot-Armenian politician Marios Garoyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am, responding to the question on when the world will recognize the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
He said that the Minsk Group deals with this matter and negotiations are underway. “But I must say that even after 20 years, it is exactly Azerbaijan whom the international community continues to support in many questions. Karabakh independence must be recognized, this is for sure. On the other hand, we must watch the international community deal with this important matter,” Marios Garoyan said, expressing hope that the question will be settled correctly.
