Nepal’s government is giving out 100,000 rupees ($1,000) to families of each of those killed in the April 25 earthquake, and another 40,000 rupees ($400) for funeral costs, the Associated Press reported citing Nepalese local media.
In addition, 25,000 rupees ($250) will be allocated to rebuild the houses that were damaged as a result of this natural disaster, reported Voiceonline.
The Nepal government has set up a $2 billion fund to eliminate the aftermath of this killer earthquake.
