The doors of 278 polling stations, one of which being in a penitentiary, closed on Sunday at 8pm local time in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR). There was another polling station in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, at the NKR Representation in Armenia (PHOTOS).

The NKR Central Electoral Commission had set up twelve constituencies, one of them being in Armenia, for Sunday’s parliamentary election in the NKR.

According to the observers, overall, no election fraud was recorded.

A total of 110 observers from a variety of countries monitored Sunday’s parliamentary election in the NKR. Seven political parties ran for the country’s 33 parliamentary seats by the proportional system. Fifty individuals, 27 of whom self-nominated, vied for the parliamentary mandates by the majority system.
