STEPANAKERT. - Karabakh Defense Minister Movses Hakobyan had a meeting today with journalists who arrived in Karabakh from Germany with the view of observing the Karabakh parliamentary elections.  Prior to the meeting, the journalists visited the military units located to the east of the line of contact, familiarizing themselves with the frontline situation on the ground. 

During the meeting, Movses Hakobyan presented the journalists with the history of the Defense Army formation, the main problems it faces, as well as responded to several questions related to the negotiation process on peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict, frequency of the ceasefire regime violations, and the countermeasures taken by the army. 

At the end of the meeting, the journalists thanked the Hakobyan for the warm reception and the organization of their visit to the frontline.
