YEREVAN. – The State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA), which is also known as the Polytechnic, on Tuesday convened the first meeting of the SEUA Board of Trustees.

Zohrap Yeganyan, the Spokesperson of the Minister of Education and Science, told about the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He noted that former National Assembly Speaker, now MP Samvel Nikoyan was just now unanimously elected Chairman of the SEUA Board of Trustees. Next, decision needs to be made on announcing a contest for the vacant post of the SEUA Rector.

This year contests will be held for the vacant post of rector for three institutions of higher education in Armenia: Yerevan State University, Yerevan State Medical University, and State Engineering University of Armenia.
