STEPANAKERT. – The President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh), Bako Sahakyan, on Wednesday visited the town of Sarcelles, France.

In Sarcelles, the President met with the commune authorities, led by Mayor François Pupponi.

During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was also signed between Sarcelles and Martakert town of the NKR, reported the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

Sahakyan stressed that cooperation with various French towns and cities is of special importance for Artsakh, and he considered this collaboration a significant opportunity for urban development in the NKR and the deepening of Karabakh-France relations.
