Armenia makes a remarkable input in global peacekeeping initiatives, Mr William Lahue, NATO Liaison officer in South Caucasus, told the media in Yerevan on Friday.

Armenia contributes troops to a NATO mission in Kosovo and participates in the UN interim force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). “We are very grateful for contribution of Armenia to worldwide security. At the same time, this allows for a greater interoperability of Armenian troops with NATO forces”, he added.

In its turn, NATO representatives holds regular meetings with Armenian officials to maintain and further strengthen the cooperation, he added.
