YEREVAN. – The seismological network of the “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency of Armenia recorded a 4.5-magnitude earthquake in Azerbaijan on Tuesday at 5:40am.
The tremor measured magnitude 6 at the epicenter, and its hypocenter was 10 km beneath the surface.
The seismic activity was felt in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, too. The tremor measured magnitude 3 in Martakert and Askeran towns.
