YEREVAN. – Armenia's Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan does not share the view that assassination attempt on governor Surik Khachatryan was staged.

“Normal person would not do so. It was definitely an assassination attempt. I am confident that it will be disclosed,” the Minister told reporters on Tuesday.

Asked whether he personally believes Khachatryan is irreplaceable professional, Yeritsyan said no one is irreplaceable.

An unknown opened fire at Surik Khachatryan's vehicle on Kapan-Goris highway last week.
