YEREVAN. – Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan today received Toshiba Medical Systems President and CEO Satoshi Tsunakawa.

Serzh Sargsyan expressed hope that Mr Tsunakawa’s visit to Armenia will give impetus to the development of mutual cooperation and inclusion of new dimensions and programs therein.

Sargsyan stressed the importance of the active work of Japanese and Armenian Embassies in the development of different spheres of Armenian-Japanese relations.

During the meeting, the President presented to the guest the favorable business and investment climate and the conditions of foreign investments in Armenia, which Toshiba company might also be interested in. 

Satoshi Tsunakawa expressed satisfaction with the fact that the operation of Toshiba Medical Systems in Armenia has been expanding and stressed that the company will continue providing support to the development of healthcare in Armenia. According to him, the company is also interested in a number of other dimensions making part of the company, for instance nuclear energy, seismology, as well as cooperation development and exchange of experience with Armenia.

Sargsyan and Tsunakawa attached great importance to the work and development of cooperation in the sphere of increasing health preservation and living standard by providing quality services through the application of modern technologies.
