YEREVAN. – The Armenian government will once again compensate passport fees for Armenians from Syria, Lebanon and Iraq.

In the first quarter of 2015, 21 passports were issued without paying a fee. Passports were granted to the citizens of Armenia and foreigners of Armenian origin who applied for an Armenian passport.

The government will allocate around $35,800 to compensate passport fees.
