The President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili, congratulated President Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday, May 28, on the occasion of the (First) Republic Day of Armenia.

“The Armenian people have gone a long way for the preservation of their statehood. Today we see a successfully developing state.

“I am deeply confident that the Republic of Armenia and Republic of Georgia relations—which have been established over the course of centuries and are based on friendship—will further develop in the future, [and] for the welfare of our countries and nations,” specifically reads the message of congratulations of the Georgian president.
