YEREVAN. – The Armenian Deputy Prime Minister is unwilling to comment on speculations about electricity price rise.

Talking to reporters on Tuesday, Vache Gabrielyan said he would express his opinion after the decision by Public Services Regulatory Commission is made.

“Personally I cannot be happy by the increase in prices, except for the goods we are exporting,” he said.

Earlier Electric Networks of Armenia has applied to the Public Services Regulatory Commission to increase electricity rate by 40 percent.
