YEREVAN. – It is a pity that demonstrators could not organize themselves and accept the president's proposal to meet, Armenia's Education Minister, deputy chairman of RPA party said.

“It was their first mistake. They had to accept the offer,” Armen Ashotyan said.

The second mistake of demonstrators was to refuse to come back to Liberty Square.

“Unfortunately the youth could not be guided by mechanisms of self-organization and turn unrest into an organized movement and form a group for a meeting with president,” Ashotyan addded.

As reported earlier, police used water canon to disperse the sit-in in Baghramyan avenue early on Tuesday morning. The police officers warned they would use force unless activists return to Liberty Square.
