YEREVAN. - Head of the Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan has promised not to use force against the sit-in participants in Yerevan’s Baghramyan Avenue, ‘No to Plunder’ initiative member Vaghinak Shushanyan, who had a talk with Gasparyan, announced by loudspeaker.  

According to Shushanyan, Gasparyan has promised not to use force against the protestors. Police Head has also praised them, at the same time asking not to politicize the protest.  

While ago the lights of Baghramyan Avenue were switched off. The protestors switched on their mobiles but in a few minutes the lights were again on.

Earlier, Yerevan Deputy Chief of Police Hunan Poghosyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am that no force will be used as long as the protest is peaceful.
