YEREVAN. - Almost in all the cities of Armenia rallies in support of Yerevan protests over electricity price hike are being held, ‘No to Plunder’ group coordination member Vaghinak Shushanyan said, noting that protests are also staged in Washington, Glendale, cities of Germany, as well as other countries.

According to Shushanyan, the decision on conducting audit in the Russian-owned Electric Networks of Armenia (EPA) company came too late, but the protests contributed to it. Shushanyan also said he feels determined and is ready to stay in Baghramyan Avenue for a long time: “I have power to protest for two more months.”

During the meeting of Armenia’s President with Maxim Sokolov, Russia’s Minister of Transport and Co-Chairman of Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Russia, agreement was reached on conducting an independent audit in EPA.
