YEREVAN. – Demonstrators are disputing the police decision to dismantle barricades from trash cans in front of law enforcement officers’ cordon.
One of the protesters, famous actor Hovhannes Azoyan approached Deputy Chief of Yerevan police Valery Osipyan asking for an explanation.
“Citizens illegally seized property belonging to a private company - trash cans. They need to be returned,” Osipyan said.
In response, journalists argued that on June 23 the police themselves deliberately seized and damaged the property belonging to media.
“The investigation is underway. We just need a long time to examine all the details,” he added.
