YEREVAN. - Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan today received the delegations heads of the forum “Communicating 4 Better Communication” held in capital Yerevan from June 29-30.

The forum has been convened upon the initiative of the National Commission on TV and Radio of Armenia (NCTR) and is held by the International Institute of Communications of London (IIC) and the Cable Broadcasting Association of Armenia (CTVBAA).  The forum is attended by the representatives of a number of leading broadcasting companies, authorities regulating TV and radio field, international authorities, Armenian IT companies, TV and radio companies, as well as cable broadcasting companies.  

The guests presented the president the objectives of the forum organization, noting that the necessity of international-level exchange of experience and cooperation becomes apparent under the conditions of the fast development of IT, TV, radio and internet services.

IIC President Fabio Colasanti noted with satisfaction that he had positive impressions from the discussions held on the very first day, and the participants’’ expectations from the forum are justified. He expressed hope that such useful meetings will become regular within the professional circles.

Sargsyan welcomed the heads of the delegation and the event held in Yerevan, attaching importance to the forum’s objectives and the discussion of the issues on the agenda. He wished success to the work of the forum.
