YEREVAN. – The man fired four shots at his wife just hours after giving birth, two bullets hit the woman in the neck. These are the details of a tragic incident that occurred at the Republican Institute of Reproductive Health, Perinatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology in Yerevan.

Another bullet hit the wall, while the fourth hit the man's heart.

The workers of medical facility said they did not hear any shots, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reported.

The couple was discovered by one of the nurses who entered the room five minutes after the tragedy.

According to some reports, the couple did not have children for a long time.

The woman is undergoing a surgery, the doctors say she is critical.
