YEREVAN. – The working meeting between the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia, and the Norwegian Mapping and Cadastre Authority was held Tuesday in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

At the event, the participants also summed up the results of the Sustainable Land Resources Management Tools project that was implemented in Armenia.

In October 2012, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway had provided a grant to carry out the aforesaid project.

The noteworthy objectives of this project were the establishment of a permanent network of GPS reference stations in Armenia, and the taking of aerial photos, development of a digital uplands model and creation of orthophotos of the economically active zones of Armenia.

Chairman of the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia, Martin Sargsyan, and Director of the Norwegian Mapping and Cadastre Authority, Helge Onsrud, delivered welcoming remarks at the working meeting.
