YEREVAN. – The avenue where protesters have been holding a sit-n for 14 days in a sign of protest against hike in electricity prices is open (PHOTO).

Hundreds of police officers are standing in pedestrian zone, traffic at Baghramyan Avenue has been restored, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reported.

Deputy Chief of Yerevan police Valery Osipyan said they are clarifying the number of those detained by police. They will be released in three hours or even earlier, he assured.
