YEREVAN. – The Specialized Committee on Constitutional Reforms of Armenia will convene a meeting on Monday, committee member Gagik Ghazinyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

At the meeting, the committee will debate on whether to approve Sections 1 to 7 of the draft Constitution.

Ghazinyan added that these seven chapters will be introduced to the public by no later than Wednesday.

The draft Constitution is expected to be completed by early August. Subsequently, the draft shall be submitted to the President. If approved, it will be introduced to the National Assembly, and then a Referendum Day will be set.

Respective political and professional debates are planned to be held during that period.
