UEFA made a decision to fine the Azeri “Baku” football team.

UEFA substantiated its decision by improper security during the Europa League third qualifying at Baku-Levski match. UEFA charged “Baku” football team for EUR 15.000, AFFA (Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan) statement reads.

The Bulgarian football team’s trip to Baku ended in a scandal. The aircraft was banned to take off from Heydar Aliev airport, reasoned that the flights from 12-to 7.a.m. in Baku are prohibited. “Levski” team was able to Bulgaria once paid a heavy fine.

President of “Levski” promised to complain to UEFA president Michel Platini and evidently kept his promise.
