YEREVAN. – Serious development of relations between Iran and Armenia can be expected, Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Reisi said commenting on the effect of the Iranian deal.
Lifting of all decisions on Iran's blockade will take around 6-7 months, while UN resolutions are being announced invalid, he told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“We hope the rest similar decisions will be gradually canceled. Be confident that our country has many advantages that we want to offer in relations with our neighbors. We have very good relations with Armenia, and there are no limitations in development of these ties,” he assured.
In line with the agreement reached in Vienna on July 14, Iran is supposed to drastically reduce the stock of low-enriched uranium, as well as dismantle some key nuclear facilities, such as heavy water reactor in Arak and Fordow underground enrichment plant.
In return, the EU and the U.S. will lift oil embargo and other trading limitations, as well as will allow Iran to access to Swift electronic banking system.
