The torch of the forthcoming 6th Pan-Armenian Games was blessed Monday at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, and by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

First, the three torch bearers joined their torches, and  former Soviet Armenian weightlifter and European, World and Olympic Champion Oksen Mirzoyan lit the torch of these games.

And after the blessing ceremony of the torch, Karekin II delivered his patriarchal message to the people. 

In addition, the Catholicos expressed his appreciation and extended his blessings to the organizers of the 6th Pan-Armenian Games, and to all those whose efforts have made this event possible.

Karekin II also conveyed his blessings to all the athletes that will compete in these games, and wished them strength and power as well as new athletic achievements and triumphs.
