YEREVAN. – The number of small and medium-sized business inspections in Armenia will considerably reduce by the year’s end.

The Government Chief of Staff-Minister, Davit Harutyunyan, introduced the respective draft decision at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, for his part, instructed all ministers to monitor the implementation of this decision.

To reduce the number of these inspections, it is also indispensable to review the risk scale.

“And on the other hand, I call upon the businesses to conscientiously fulfill their obligations,” announced the PM.

Any complaints regarding the adequacy of these inspections will be considered by the government, and the prime ministerial control service.
