The United States imposed additional sanctions against Russia over its actions in Ukraine targeting  11 individuals and 15 entities, including Kalashnikov Concern.

The list also includes Roman Rotenberg , Alexander Yanukovich, the son of ex-president Victor Yanukovich, as well as other former Ukrainian officials and their close associates linked to ex-president.

“Today’s action underscores our resolve to maintain pressure on Russia for violating international law and fueling the conflict in eastern Ukraine,” said John E. Smith, the director of the Treasury office that issued the sanctions. 

 “Our message is clear: we will continue to act to ensure the effectiveness of our sanctions, which will not be rolled back until the Minsk Agreements are fully implemented.”
