In the framework of a working trip to Moscow, Armen Hayrapetyan, the head of State Food Security Service of Armenia’s Agriculture Ministry met with Igor Chuyan, director of Russia’s Federal Service for Alcohol Market Regulation.

The issues on alcohol export and import within the territory of the Eurasian Union, as well as market regulation were discussed at the meeting.  

At the previous session of the Armenian government, the procedure on verifying the origin of the Armenian brandy and brandy spirits was approved. This function will be entrusted to Armenia’s State Food Security Service.  

The partners also discussed the perspectives of bilateral cooperation in the area of food security.
