YEREVAN. – Russia has legalized the reduced price for natural gas which Armenia will purchase at the border; and this price is US$165 per 1,000 cubic meters.
Draft of the respective Armenian-Russian agreement was approved at Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting of the Government of Armenia.
This price is retroactively legalized since January 1, 2015, when Armenia had actually begun to get the Russian gas with this price on the border.
The agreement will be in force until December 31, 2015, whereupon it will be necessary to sign a new agreement, which will come into force no later than the end of the current year.
