The man, who was found dead in an unfinished building in Merdzavan village in the Armavir Province of Armenia, was working at a sock workshop, Merdzavan prefect Levon Grigoryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Grigoryan noted that the man had come to their village and was looking for an apartment for rent. Subsequently, he had said nearby the aforesaid unfinished building that he was not feeling well, and therefore he was given water to drink. Several days had passed, and one of the village children who was passing by the area had seen this man’s dead body, and he immediately told his father.

The man, who was found dead and his body partially eaten, was a resident of Jermuk town, and they say he was a citizen of the Russian Federation.

As reported earlier, a corpse, which was half-torn by animals, was discovered in an unfinished building in Merdzavan village. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned that a village resident had informed the police that he had seen a dead body. As a result, the police found the corpse of Kamo Yeranosyan, 55, in the aforesaid building. Yeranosyan was a resident of Jermuk town.

According to preliminary information, the body was old, and one of the man’s hands was half eaten by animals. A forensic examination is commissioned, and a report is being prepared on the incident.
