Erkan Geldi, a resident of Turkey who was born on board a Turkish Airlines flight in 1990, has become a flight attendant in the same company.

Geldi was born on board a flight from Izmir to Frankfurt, reported The Daily Mail. And he was named after the pilot who was flying that day.

After graduating with a bachelor’s diploma in teaching English from university, Erkan applied for a job as a flight attendant.

“During the interview process, they asked me why I picked this occupation. I replied that actually the occupation chose me!” stated Erkan Geldi.
