The garden of photograph Levon Manukyan, 67, who resides in Armenia’s Alaverdi  town, is known to everybody. One can easily find it even without knowing the address: the secret is in approaching the 7-metre exotic kiwi tree.

“My father brought it from Batumi. When I returned from the army, it was still very little. We were enveloping it so that it didn’t get frozen. And so it grew,” Manukyan says.

Besides kiwi tree, other exotic plants and flowers also grow in the photograph’s garden, but it is best known for its kiwi.
