YEREVAN. – The launch of the 114 social hotline in Armenia has considerably changed the quality of services rendered in preventing corruption and providing more targeted services to the people.

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Artem Asatryan, on Tuesday told the abovementioned to reporters while summing up the three-year activities of this call center.

In his words, they have carried out more than anticipated.

“We have introduced systems that operate in socially developed countries,” added the minister.

The 114 social hotline service in Armenia is carried with cooperation between the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

US Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills, and World Bank Country Manager for Armenia Laura Bailey also attended the summing up of the three-year activities of this service.

Bailey, speaking to reporters, underscored the setting up of such a call center in Armenia, and noted that this is among the cornerstones for improving the quality of life in the country.
