YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia and ARF Dashnaktsutyun parties have justified hopes for forming majority in the parliament together with the Republican Party of Armenia, human rights advocate Larisa Alaverdyan said.

Speaking about the latest meeting of the political parties representatives with the Armenian leader, Larisa Alaverdyan, head of Against Legal Arbitrariness NGO, said ARF had always pointed to common grounds for cooperation on constitutional reforms. As to Prosperous Armenia, the first sharp statements on constitutional reforms were not justified, Alaverdyan added.

President Serzh Sargsyan on Wednesday started the series of his talks with Armenia’s political forces regarding the proposed constitutional reform in the country. He has already met with Prosperous Armenia and ARF Dashnaktsutyun, and Orinats Yerkir representatives.
