The Chinese air force has “hired” monkeys.

Birds are making nests on the trees around an airbase in the country. As a result, the airspace of the base is full of birds, which get into the engines of the planes and can lead to major disasters. 

So, monkeys are put to use to fight against these birds. These animals are climbing the trees and destroying the birds’ nests.

In addition, according to the Chinese military, the smell of these monkeys remains on the trees and wards off some birds, reported Rossiyskaya Gazeta daily of Russia.

And as “payment” for their work, these animals get apples and candy from their instructors.
