A meeting of the Interior Ministers’ Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries will be convened Wednesday in Minsk, the capital city of Belarus.

Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus informed Interfax news agency that priority cooperation issues will be on the event agenda.

In addition, the discussants will reflect on the Specialized Data Bank activities in the CIS countries.

Several bilateral talks also are expected to be conducted within the framework of the said assembly.

The meeting will come to an end with the signing of documents summarizing its results.

The event will bring together internal affairs and police delegations from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Belarus.
