YEREVAN. – The American dollar (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 482.77/$1 in Armenia on Monday, a 0.76 point fall as compared with the previous day.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 540.94 (down by AMD 4.53), that of one British pound was AMD 743.56 (down by AMD 1.22), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.19 (down by AMD 0.06), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.
One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 224.13 AMD 17,616.81 and AMD 15,567.98, respectively.
The sales totaled USD 2.3 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 482.8/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 482.8/$1.
